Unique visitor
One distinct human, counted once per day per destination. Deduplicated with a hash of network and client signals plus a daily-rotating salt. The unit of account for every credit and every click on TopWapi.
Credit
One unit of promotional value, earned by delivering one unique visitor through a promotional link. Credits raise a listing's leaderboard position. 1 credit = 1 unique visitor, always.
Promotional link
The shareable URL at /p/your-code that earns credits. Distinct from your listing URL, which is what appears on the leaderboard.
Impressions
Views of a promotional link, deduplicated the same way clicks are. Shown separately from credits so you can see when a campaign is circulating inside one network.
Leaderboard position
The rank number on the toplist. Computed from a blended score and refreshed continuously. Ties are broken by unique clicks, then by listing ID for stability.
Clicks in / clicks out
Visitors in are people browsing TopWapi. Visitors out are people who clicked through to a member website. The ratio tells you how compelling the board is at that moment.
Daily salt
A random value combined with visitor signals before hashing, rotated at UTC midnight. It makes yesterday's visitor hashes unlinkable to today's, so the identifier is effectively ephemeral.
Traffic swap
An arrangement where members exchange visitors through a shared credit economy rather than through payment. TopWapi pairs this with a genuine discovery surface, so clicks come from readers as well as members.
Verified owner
A member who has proven control of the listed domain. Worth a trust badge and 220 score points.
Featured listing
A listing with exceptional verified performance. Worth a homepage podium position and 380 score points. Cannot be purchased.
Bounce rate
The share of visitors who left a member site without a second page view. Useful for spotting listings whose description oversells what the site delivers.
Score
The blended ranking value behind leaderboard position: clicks_7d × 0.55 + clicks_30d × 0.15 + lifetime unique clicks × 0.02 + impressions × 0.01 + verified × 220 + featured × 380.
Deduplication window
The period over which a repeated visit is ignored. On TopWapi it is one day, in UTC, which is the right granularity for a daily credit unit.
Toplist
A ranked directory of websites. Historically a link-exchange format; on TopWapi it is a paginated, categorised discovery surface with live per-listing metrics.
